Sales and a winner (free pattern link too!)

Thank you so much to everyone that entered the 'You Pick' giveaway and a huge thank you to Fresh Squeezed Fabrics for sponsoring it, I'm sure Randi appreciated all your kind comments about the shop and the facebook page too!

The winner is...

Lucky for some, especially Kirsten. Congratulations! I've sent you an email :)

Don't be sad if you didn't win I know there's lots of great fabric sales happening just now and here's a couple you must take advantage of if you've not seen them already...

Fresh Squeezed Fabrics always have a fabulous sale of the week and this week it's these gorgeous Kokka prints, only $3.50 a yard!!

Go and take a look to see more colourways and great fabrics.

Sublime Stitching are having an amazing 50% off sale - that's the patterns and much more. Hurry though it ends today!! Enter code BACK_2_STITCHIN at the checkout.

I have these scissors and I love them:

Also while you're there grab their fantastic FREE embroidery pattern, you'll be glad you did!

I was lucky recently too and won a copy of 'Fat Quarterly Shape Workshop for Quilters'. Katy was kind enough to include a template for her Orange Soda pattern too since she knows I'm desperate to make one. Thanks Katy :)
I'm a bit late for the Soda Pop QAL that Sew Allegorical hosted but it provided great examples of gorgeous versions of the quilt!
You can get templates for Katy's designs here.

I know lots of people have blogged about this book and honestly I can't say enough great things about it. It's rammed full of amazing block designs, beautiful quilts and I want to make everything in it. As you'd expect from a book by such great folk the instructions are really clear and the modern fabrics and layouts they've used are just so inspiring. If you don't have a copy, buy one now! You won't be sorry!
