Glad March has gone!

It wasn't the most fun month, we were ill and I've been exhausted. The highlights were my son's birthday and the fun of the Stale Stash Swap.
Yet again I'm surprised with what I've managed to make this month - really I say that every time!!

I have a suspicion that I'm starting to find my own style, this mosaic seems brighter and more fun to me than some I've done before. Maybe because there's more kid stuff in there! Here's what I got done in March:

This month I'd love to work on making more things I love, developing my style and getting things finished (Stained qal *ahem*).  I'm also joining in the Retro Flowers QAL and want to finally get round to machine paper piecing something!! Also I'm hoping to finally get round to making my first cushion attempts!

I've not been great at commenting on peoples blogs recently, I can only apologise and with the Easter holidays in full swing here I will try my best to keep up but kids must come first!!

Wow, tons of finishes for the month! I love the giant hexagon quilt! How big are they????

I can't wait to start retro flowers!! I've been stalking her blog this morning, waiting for the first post!

I seriously love your mosaic! If you've found your style, I have to say I like it :o)
PS hope you are all feeling better. It's somehow transferred itself through the interwebs to the other side of the world - I have tonsillitis and the small peeps all have colds. Sigh.

You had a creative month with great stuff! Love your quilts. And don't feel bad about not keeping up with blogs that much, family and real life always comes first!

That mosaic is a lovely bright spot on what is a dark, wet, horrid day today. I love your hexagon park (I loved making mine) and embroidery in particular. I hope April is a better month!

I like the pretty, bright colors you chose for your projects this month. Color is so much a part of our sense of style. I like the direction yours seems to be taking. Very pretty!

Great makes Lucy and kids do have to come first. I too would like to have a month where I make what I love. Hmm. Not sure that will happen!

I've been sick for a week! I hear ya, I feel disconnected with my blog friends. I will have to do retro flowers with you! Off to see what it is, but if it's good for you, I'm in!

I really like the huge hexie quilt! I'm planning to use the Moda Bake Shop pattern that looks similar with my precious Etchings layer cake :) Love all the fun projects you finished!
