bloggy notes:

- I have had to stop anonymous commenters, spam wasn't being published but some was coming through to my email and it was just annoying. Hope that hasn't stopped anyone lovely from commenting!

- If you are reading and in a hurry I just thought I'd point out that I have a special little button below each post so you can just click the box to let me know you liked the post :)

- Finally I'm trying to be good about adding projects to my 'finished quilts' and 'embroidery' pages... if you are catching up on blog reading please visit the tabs on my blog to see if you've missed anything.

  1. I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with anonymous commenters... It is quite annoying and I think I will have to stop them too.
That thread looks lovely by the way!

  2. Ooh, love that like feature, although I will still comment most of the time. :)

  3. I'm so looking forward to seeing your finished retro flowers quilt. I am in love with the colour combo of your second blog pic - I.DIE.

  4. oh, your quilt photos are looking goregous! i can't wait to see the finished quilt!

I have been considering disabling annonymus comments, too. I keep getting offers for cheap vallium, is someone trying to tell me something? haha

Randi is killing me with the great sales she keeps having - Fresh Squeezed is one of my fav shops :)

  5. Your quilting pictures are so pretty! I love variegated thread!

Anonymous commenters have been terrible lately! It doesn't seem like Blogger catches any of them. The 'Like' feature is great!

  6. Lovely quilting, I love the variegated threads for quilting too, I was surprised by that at first and I use King Tut a lot. I am going to come back and check out your pages, I should do something like that too.

  7. Eek, I have a finished quilts tab too, and now that you mention it, I think it's been a long time since I've updated it!

    Your quilting looks wonderful.

  8. I stopped anonymous comments too as they were literally filling up my email from the blog - always about some sort of drugs - not good!

I like King Tut too - and so does my sewing machine.

  9. So refreshing to read that some people have good quilting experiences! It looks great and thanks for the sale tip off!

  10. Love variegated thread, such a fun effect :o)

  11. Love the quilting, Lucy! I've not tried King Tut before, it does look lovely ...

  12. Variegated threads are lovely!

  13. Yes, I love King Tut, too! the colours are such fun. Mind you, I think I have reverted to childhood, with my love of variegated threads!Oh fun- but I am developing a dangerous hoardiness about them!

    See you soon, I hope!
