Just sneaking in to show you my current wip...
My sewing table is covered in paper as I make rows of geese and spend too much time unpicking!!
Yesterday my littlest turned two, I may have spent the night before crying at the fact I no longer have any babies. I am so proud of her, she's such a clever girl and is a joy to spend time with. We got her this play kitchen and a heap of wooden fruit. She's been having a blast!
And that squishy face is what she does every time I try to take a picture of her!!

ReplyDeleteYour daughter is adorable!!! love the squishy face :-)
ReplyDeleteYour WiP looks like it is coming along well despite the need to unpick seams occasionally. And happy belated birthday to your little one; she's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteMy youngest turns two today! And I'm having those same sad feelings- although he insists he's the baby yet (and I do still rock him to sleep occassionally), so I'm coping. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday, Miss L!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flying geese! My youngest is 22 and I guess I'll long for the baby days unless I get lucky and get a grandbaby!
ReplyDeleteIt's all flying times at your place, fabulous flying geese and time flying as your littlest grows up. 2 years does seem to have flown by extra fast!
ReplyDeleteOh Lucy, I can completely understand your heartbreak at your baby turning two. I spent the entire morning of Little Miss C.'s second birthday in tears. It was so. Darn. Hard. She's adorable, by the way, and even at two still such a baby. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful Lucy!
ReplyDeleteThe geese are beautiful Lucy - I have a thing about geese at the moment. Your little girl is such a cutie - enjoy every second of her!
ReplyDeleteBoth your geese and your daughter are lovely, although I think your daughter wins. Her "camera" face is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday L!
ReplyDeleteWhat a doll! Happy Birthday Baby Girl! Seems like yesterday you were pregnant!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! This snuck up on me. She looks so grown up all the sudden. Bittersweet, isn't it? Th kitchen is darling and all that wooden fruit lovely. My little one would love to play with her in the little kitchen all day long!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet little girl, Lucy! My oldest turned 9 and that was really hard. I never want my kids to move out.
ReplyDeleteOoh that's the face Molly does!
ReplyDeleteBirthday wishes to Mademoiselle L; chin up chook xxx
ReplyDeleteLooks like the pressie was a great success! I still pull that face at cameras ;o)
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! Great pressie - she maybe take over in the kitchen with a bit of luck....?
ReplyDeleteOh she is so sweet. The baby stage just does not last long enough :(
ReplyDeleteSooooo cute! It's strange isn't it - we want them to hit all these milestones but really secretly don't. I had a little cry the other day when my eldest's first adult tooth made an appearance!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your little one!!
