Sometimes, though, things go horribly wrong. This is my third attempt at this block and it's not going well. I'm giving it one more go and then throwing in the towel!
Today though I was getting on with basting this quilt I'm making for Cindy (I used this pattern):

I'm going to be hand quilting it, using these lovely DMC perle threads - this and the quilt fabrics are all available at Fluffy Sheep Quilting

ReplyDeletelovely bee blocks! These are so great, I've never been a fan of the basket look but the yellow and linen is gorgeous! And cute little one! Getting so big :)
ReplyDeleteI had to do that 1.5" square block for a bee too! I have since determined that 1.5" squares and I are NOT friends. I had to unpick and resew that darn block 3 times, and even then, it wasn't nearly as good as I'd have liked.
