CHARM ABOUT YOU

I'm linking up last minute to the fourth quarter Finish-A-Long at Quilter in the Gap.

I really wasn't sure whether to do this post because the baby is due in January and I'm not sure how much I'll get done or even if I'll be able to sit for very long at my machine with the ever growing bump... there's stuff I want to finish though so I'm just listing them and putting no pressure on myself to finish any of it!!

- first up is a simple Christmas tablecloth made with lovely charm squares. Nearly all cut so not too much work


- Blogger's BOM - blocks done but obviously needs to be put together and I'd love to give this as a Christmas present


- Baby quilt for a wonderful friend, she's due any day so I really want to finish this one!

- Project for the kids, still quite a bit of work needs doing but it's needed so hopefully this one will get done too


- HFWYG QAL - I've already fallen behind and I strongly suspect it might be asking too much for a proper finish on this


- Retro flowers - Hahahahahaha. Really doubt it!



I'm going at my own pace and not stressing... I'll just enjoy sewing and see what gets done!

Here's what I managed for the 3rd Quarter Finish-A-Long over at Quilter in the Gap since my 3rd quarter post:



- Baby quilt. This is the Spinning Stars quilt that I finished recently - I'm so pleased with this one!



- Thread Bag. It feels like forever ago that I finished this and it's had a lot of use already, also love this!

- Retro Flowers... epic fail but one day my friends this will get done. I feel some major chain piecing coming on.


- cushion from the Fat Quarterly retreat. This is the Postcards From Paris cushion and this gets used (and thrown around) often.

- Project for the Fat Quarterly... I did a challenge and I finished it but haven't blogged about it and not sure if it's just one of those things that may never surface but at least it got done!

So 4/5 finishes and 3/5 projects to link up. I'm happy with that :)
