The hand quilting is going well.
Most of my time, however, is now being spent trying to think of ways to STOP Lois from walking!! She's only six months old and this is her new trick, cruising along the sofa.
I love that little tongue sticking out with determination.
So while I'm busy why not go shopping...

wow! How can she be cruising already? That's bonkers! I suggest a velcro suit and a fluffy sofa ;-)
Wow, look at her go!! The quilting looks gorgeous!
You just can't keep a good girl down. Love your perfect hand quilting.
Your quilting is gorgeous and Lois has a brother and sister to chase!!! There'll be no stopping her, I'm afraid!
Well, if her big bro and her big sis can do it? why on earth should she be left out? Come on, Mum, give a girl a break!
Now, if you REALLY want to slow her down- try teaching her a standard crawl! If she can get there quick and easy, she may decide to leave the walking for a bit... perhaps?
Wow! Marged is ten months and not cruising yet. You have one advanced baby!
Oh bless her, she is so adorable. I'd love to have my (24 yr old) son back as a baby again :-)
Guess I better hang on for some grand children! :-D
Doesn't she look cute! Yup better move all the stuff out of reach! She must have great balance and strength and determination - this girl has skills!
Gosh she's sweet, and I remember the tongue! :)
Ha ha, you have your work cut out there, my eldest was crawling and cruising at 7 months so you have my sympathies! The baby-group mums were very jealous of my mobile baby, little did they know at the time!
Oh my goodness, she's CRUISING!? Those are the cutest photos! Little Miss C. still isn't crawling at 8.5 months and I'm enjoying that she's still not able to get into too much mischief. Enjoy that little bit more time before she's running around the house! xoxo
She's too cute with her little sticky out tongue!
My son started walking at 71/2 months, he is now going on 34 & hasn't stopped yet.
Good Luck
your quilt is beautiful

Eek!! stop it now!!! Can you see her pulling all your things off your sewing table next week. This is what I am dreading...it's all ok until they are mobile! Good luck
Helen was like that! But she was my first child so I didn't have a clue. She was full on walking, never a wobble by nine months and could get to the windowsill by climbing the sofa and working her way up to the window by the time she was ten months. She was part goat, and a freaking nightmare at times. Good luck!
Ha, that last pic is like 'Whaaaaat?'
Baby MiH is doing it only now!! and he is now on the move... she is very clever
Oh my goodness Lois is so precious!! And 6 months old? How is that possible??
Oh that hand quilting is lovely. Lovely lovely, as is the babe.
Uh oh! Lois just wants to be able to play with her beautiful siblings. Maybe heavy shoes will stop her?? ;)
Scrumptious Lois!!!!
walking at 6 months - aagh! Gorgeous hand quilting :-)
Don't know much about kids, but isn't she a bit young? No peace for the wicked now!
Amazing! My boy is 6 months old today and I can't wait for him to sit up on his own. Good luck with the walking...:)
She's so beautiful, I could eat her! Sit down bubba. No one likes an early walker ;-)
Oh my, I feel your pain! My first one walked at 8 months (first steps) and was fully mobile at 8.5 months! Oh my, it was a really mixed blessing! lol
She must be some kind of baby savant walker. You must be brilliant to breed such genius. My wee man is 5 months and is proud to roll from side to side! I can only hope he makes up for it in other ways :-)
She's so gorgeous Lucy, reminds me of my eldest who was fully walking at 7 months - now 25 he's still my world explorer :0
